Synopsis (from Goodreads)
Janelle Wagoner kept a lot of secrets for her husband, but the one she tried the hardest to protect was her own. She never suspected he knew, or that he would choose to reveal it in such a dramatic way. Now that he’s gone, leaving behind her and two children, Janelle is left to pick up the pieces and try to put her life back together before it’s too late.
Nathan Harris has only ever loved one woman, despite the fact that she was married to someone else. After learning that she has been hiding something from him, he’s faced with a tough decision: with everything at stake, will he walk away from her for good, or will he lay it all on the line to win her back?
What I Think Of It So Far
So far, I’m currently enjoying reading the novel, I can’t believe I waited this long to read it. I really feel for the Morgan sisters, and all that they still continue to go through. When are they finally going to get their happily ever after?
I still feel like something majorly bad is going to happen. When is the other shoe going to drop?
As far as characters go, I never did like Janelle’s husband in What It Takes. He was a bit of a mean person and kind of mental – so no loss there. I love everyone else…well except for Mrs. Morgan, I really can’t believe her, though I guess I did see it coming from reading the first novel.
I am so rooting for Janelle and Nathan to get together, the prologue and revelations in the book are just screaming for them to get over the hurdles and finally get together. But I guess we’ll see.
